The BIG fish hid well at the June 30th tournament

Although the lake at Longhorn RV Resort has great places for anglers to fish comfortably, the BIG fish stayed hidden very well. It was an overcast but humid morning on the lake for all anglers.

The June 2nd Fish-Off!

The morning started off overcast and (somewhat) cool providing the perfect setting for some quick catches! Anglers were reeling in all sizes of bass from Linebarger Lake this past Saturday at the 2nd of 6 fishing tournaments this season.

Ten anglers caught a whopping 28 bass!! Check out the results page for individual and overall standings tables.

April 28th Arroyo Fishing Tournament!

And the winner is…

Everyone who came out!! A BIG thanks to everyone who helped us kick off the 2nd Annual Arroyo Fishing Tournament Series on April 28th. It was a beautiful morning filled with hot air balloons and lots of fish!

Check out our results page for Overall and Individual Tournament Standings. Make sure to check back after each tournament to see where you or your favorite angler stands! Remember: EVERY OUNCE COUNTS toward being invited to the Championship Tournament in October.

Of course we did award prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the Youth and Adult Divisions.

Noah Oneil (top left) took home the prize for Biggest Bass! And Arnold Riley (top middle) won the prize for Biggest Catfish!

Golfing Fore Fish!

Thanks to everyone who came out to participate in the 1st Annual Golfing Fore Fish Tournament!

Friends from across the State came out to support the Arroyo Fishing Tournament Series by playing golf on March 23rd. All proceeds from the event go toward the fishing tournament series to enhance interest and stewardship of the outdoors, fishing and a scholarship to one lucky student wanting to study environmental sciences.
